Two Feet of SnowSnow and sleders nearly leveled our mini grenhouses. The 3 ft. deep snow drifts encapsulated the 25'x6' frames and
had to be gingerly swept off the delicate poly that is shielding the tiny carrot, beet, and lettuce seedlings. 45 degrees
today. Welcome 2011.

Scarsdale Update of volunteer success and invitation/ open call for additional helpersScarsdale Community volunteers have signed up in droves to adopt the gardens for a week at all fivr of the elementary schools,
The Scarsdale Middle School and the Scarsdale Highschool. They have been doing a fantastic job. What a blessing and
a gift to have such whole hearted community involvement. Please contact us if you would like to be added to waiting
list to volunteer at any of the 7 Scarsdale Organic Gardens. We also have intensive volunteer traing programs and apprentice
programs for those interested in delving deeper into the art of local intensive sustainable community agriculture!
